Called to Care for One’s Life to Care for the Life of the Sisters and the Life of the Poor: Within the Service of Authority
September 13 to 17: the sisters in charge of the different communities of the General Vice Province of Saint Clare gathered in Cebu for their Superiors’ Encounter.
It was a grace-filled moment for all the sisters, as they came together to receive formation, deepen their understanding of the service of authority, and renew their commitment to caring for the life of each sister and for the life of the poor.
The encounter also became a meaningful opportunity for sharing experiences, joys, challenges, and insights from their service of animating and accompanying the different communities. Through these moments of encounter and sharing, the sisters were able to learn from one another and recognize the importance of walking together in service, compassion, and responsibility.
The sisters are deeply grateful for this enriching experience, which allowed them not only to receive formation but also to strengthen their communion as sisters and to renew themselves in their mission of serving and caring for the communities entrusted to them.
May this encounter continue to inspire each sister to exercise the service of authority with love, humility, compassion, and a genuine concern for the life of the sisters, the people around, and the common home.
